RG Freeman Group just confirmed the start of our Virtual, Instructor-led Agile for Business Analysts and Agile Scrum Simulation Workshop courses in February. The classes below are guaranteed to run!
Both classes are being taught by Kelsey Apple, MCT, MCSD, PMP, PSM, Senior Agile and Business Analysis Instructor and Consultant, RG Freeman Group.
The Agile for Business Analysts class (course code BA08) is scheduled February 8-9, 2022. https://rgfgroup.com/event/ba08-agile-for-business-analysts/2022-02-08/
In this 2-day course, you will develop your understanding of agile business analysis and the role of the business analyst on an agile team. A number of business analysis techniques suited for supporting agile teams will be introduced as will the various standards available to the community to help teams and organizations transition. Since few organizations are pure agile, you will also learn about delivery approaches that use a combination of practices from waterfall and agile and will also be introduced to the important concept of business analysis tailoring – the key skill used to adapt business analysis skills to all environments – regardless of the delivery life cycle selected.
The Agile Scrum Simulation Workshop (course code: AGL22v) is scheduled February 16-17, 2022 and February 23-24, 2022. https://rgfgroup.com/event/agl-22v-virtual-agile-scrum-team-workshop/2022-02-16/ Students can register on their own or as a team!
Participants will experience the leading Agile methodology by using hands-on exercises and testing the basic premise and techniques behind agility. This 2-day virtual workshop puts the distributed agile team members through their paces, by showing them how to conduct the five (5) scrum ceremonies, while also simulating key activities within a sprint. This workshop utilizes an immersive learning approach, along with role playing, which allows students to assume their respective Scrum roles and practice the techniques as they learn. Students work remotely and experience an environment that is fully leveraging Agile concepts and culture.
A quote from a recent student: “I thought the way the material was presented was very easy to digest and I loved how much time was worked into the schedule to have the participants actually doing the work to gain experience.”
